The getMapTypeId() method returns the current map type.
Syntax
mapvariable.getMapTypeId();
Return Values
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| HYBRID | A photographic map + roads and city names |
| ROADMAP | A normal, default 2D map |
| SATELLITE | A photographic map |
| TERRAIN | A map with mountains, rivers, etc. |
